KUALA LUMPUR - TAMAN NEGARA - KUALA LUMPUR

Joint tour (KUL4DTNEX): Daily departure from Crowne Plaza Mutiara Kuala Lumpur Hotel (registration at the waiting room at lower lobby at 08:45 hrs, departure at 09:00 hrs) with English speaking driver (minimum 2 persons)

Private tour (KUL4DTNEXP): Daily departure from Kuala Lumpur with English speaking driver (other major language guide available at request)

ITINERARY:

KUALA LUMPUR - TAMAN NEGARA     (-/L/D)

DAY 1 Depart in the early morning from Kuala Lumpur and drive for about 3 hours to Jerantut and then to Kuala Tembeling jetty. Lunch at a local restaurant en route. From the jetty, enjoy a ride on a covered wooden longboat to the resort.

On arrival, check in at the resort. After dinner, enjoy a video presentation of Taman Negara ?National Park at the Interpretive Centre.  Later proceed to a night jungle walk to experience the forest by night. Enjoy the orchestra of jungle noises performed for your pleasure by cicadas and other night insects and animals. Soak in the fresh night air and enjoy Nature as Mother Nature intended it to be. Overnight at MUTIARA TAMAN NEGARA RESORT.

TAMAN NEGARA     (B/L/D)

DAY 2 Breakfast at the resort. After which, venture into the nearby forest for a slow trek through the riverine, lowland and mixed dipterocarp forest to reach Teresek hill (about 1,130 feet above sea level). Try a balancing act on the canopy walk, for an aerial view of the beautiful rainforest. Lunch.

In the afternoon, proceed to Lata Berkoh by boat, to enjoy the cool water pools and cascading waterfall (small waterfalls). Dinner and overnight at MUTIARA TAMAN NEGARA RESORT.

TAMAN NEGARA     (B/L/D)

DAY 3 Breakfast at the hotel. Today we undertake cave exploration with a visit to Gua Telinga (Ear Caves), whereby it is so named because the inside of the caves is similar to the structure of an ear. One must be prepared to get dirty during this cave exploration, as the cave is inhabited by several species of bats.  Lunch.  After lunch get ready to shooting the rapids to Kuala Trenggan. Afterwards you are free to enjoy the rainforest and its beauty. Lunch, dinner and overnight at MUTIARA TAMAN NEGARA RESORT.

TAMAN NEGARA - KUALA LUMPUR     (B/L/-)

DAY 4 Breakfast at the resort. Now it is time for you to say goodbye and return to the civilized world. Lunch at local restaurant. Transfer by boat and bus back to Kuala Lumpur.

Our tour prices are inclusive of; 3 nights accommodation at Superior Chalet with air-condition,  return transfer from Kuala Lumpur City to Resort on seat-in-coach shuttle service ( or private car with English speaking driver for private tour ), meals as specified in the program (B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner), entrance fees to the National Park, return seat-in-coach boat transfer, boat activities inside the park as specified in the program, all tour activities in the park are conducted by English speaking Park Nature Guide attached to the National Park.

Not included are other meals not mentioned in the program, beverages consumed during meals, optional tours and expenditures of personal nature, camera and video-cam fee.

All boat transfers and tour activities by nature guide in the park are on Seat-in-coach basis, for both private and seat-in-coach package.
