ITINERARY:

Ho Chi Minh City - Dalat     (-/L/-)

DAY 1 (THU) Pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City for the 6 hour drive to Dalat, often referred to as the city of eternal spring?because of its moderate climate. The scenic drive passes through tea, coffee and mulberry plantations. Shortly before arriving to Dalat we will stop at Prenn Waterfalls, one of numerous waterfalls in the area. Upon arrival in Dalat visit Bao Dai Summer Palace, constructed in 1933, the famous Hang Nga Guesthouse and Art Gallery (also known as Crazy House? and Truc Lam Thien Vien Pagoda. You may then stroll through the local market, where a large selection of fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers is on sale. Accommodation at Novotel in Dalat.

Dalat- Buon Me Thuot     (B/L/-)

DAY 2 (FRI) We follow national route No. 27 north towards Buon Me Thuot, famous for its coffee plantations. The 160km drive takes about 4 hours and passes through spectacular mountain and pinewood scenery. Lunch at Lak Lake. A scenic boat ride on dugout canoes (2 persons per canoe), brings you to a village of ethnic M'nong people. Late afternoon continue for another 55km to Buon Me Thuot. In the evening attend the performance of ethnic dances, songs and gong music in a nearby village and join the villagers in drinking local can?wine. Accommodation at Dam San Hotel.

Buon Me Thuot - Nha Trang      (B/L/-)

DAY 3 (SAT) Drive to York Don National Forest and explore the surrounding area during a 1 hour elephant ride. Return to Buon Me Thuot for a short visit of the Ethnographic Museum, which is housed in a Palace of former king Bao Dai. After lunch we take the scenic road towards the coastal plains to Nha Trang with a short stopover at Po Nagar Cham Towers, built between the 7th and 12th centuries. Accommodation at Yasaka Saigon Nha Trang Hotel.

Nha Trang - Phan Thiet      (B/L/-)

DAY 4 (SUN) We travel southwards, passing lush rice fields, salt ponds and dragon fruit plantations and break the journey at Phan Rang to visit the 13th century Po Klong Jarai Cham Towers, perched high on a rocky hill surrounded by prickly pear cacti. After a photo stop at the fishing harbour of Phan Thiet, we visit a local home, where the famous Nuoc Mam (fish sauce) is produced. Another stop will be at the vast sand dunes at Cape Mui Ne, which have inspired numerous photographers for many years. Tonight you will spend at a beach resort on the beach. Accommodation at Blue Ocean Resort.

Phan Thiet - Ho Chi Minh City      (B/L/-)

DAY 5 (MON) At leisure on the beach. Lunch then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. The tour ends with a transfer to your hotel. (Accommodation not included).

Our tour prices are inclusive oftransfers and tours with English, German or French speaking guide, accommodation in shared twin rooms with air-condition and private bath room, meals as specified in the program (B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner), entrance fees, boat fees, elephant ride fee.

Not included aresurcharges for compulsory gala dinners during festive seasons and peak season surcharges, which will be advised at time of booking. Gratuities to local guide & driver.
